Ever going to be Valut 64-bit server on IIS x64?
Will there ever be a version of Vault that runs on Windows Server x64 WITHOUT 32-bit mode being turned on in IIS? All our servers are going to be moved to Windows server 2008 x64 and we need all our servers to be running in IIS7 x64 mode... vault is the only thing holding us back....
Note that unlike IIS <= 6, IIS 7 can run 32-bit and 64-bit programs simultaneously. The fact that the Vault server is currently a 32-bit application shouldn't necessarily hold you back from moving to Windows Server 2008. Each App Pool in IIS 7 can be set to allow 32-bit applications (or not).
The 4.1.1 installers should work much better in this scenario out of the box because the 4.1.1 installers will automatically create a Vault App Pool in IIS 7 and Vault 4.1.1 will work in both Integrated and Classic pipeline mode. However, if you want to switch before 4.1.1 is released, here are instructions to get Vault working with 4.1.0:

currently our server is windows 2003 only, we dont plan on going 2008 until later in the year... if you'd like help testing on 2003 x64 I'd be glad to help out there... as for running both at once, i did not know you could do that... always read you had to set the entier IIS in 32bit or 64bit mode.. thanks!
