VS2003 not seeing Vault 4.1.0 as default source provider

Post by ray023 » Mon Mar 10, 2008 3:27 pm

We have a machine that only has visual studio 2003 as an IDE.

After installing the latest version of Vault, it no longer recognizes Vault as the default Source Provider. In fact, it doesn't even see vault at all.

We have tried two methods:
Method 1:
1. Uninstall of existing vault client
2. Install of new vault client

method 2:
Upgrade existing vault client

The funny thing is that the version we're using as the upgrade (2.0.6) does configure the IDE properly. Somehow though that information is lost after the upgrade.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Open the Vault client. From menu "Tools", choose "Options..."

On the "General" page, select the checkbox that reads "Make Vault your default SCC Provider"
