We are currently running Vault 3.1.5 (3546) and have just had a new server delivered. Could someone from sourceGear tell me the recommended way to move our Vault repository to our new server.
Some points to note:
1. Thew new server will be on a different domain from the old
2. The new server will use SQL Server 2005, the old one is SQL Server 2000
3. The new server will be Windows 2003, the old one is Windows 2000
4. We will probably upgrade to Vault 4.x

The easiest is to restore a backup of your database on the new machine, then install Vault.
For upgrading to Vault 4.x, it might be best to upgrade in steps such as 3.1.5, to 3.5.3 to 4.0.6, or maybe even 3.1.5 to 3.1.9 to 3.5.3 to 4.0.6.
