I have an offsite that is justifiably concerned regarding source access speed. I'd like to be able to allow a site to have their own repository that gets replicated into the main source repository. Is there any way to do this? All the articles stating this is impossible are somewhat dated.
I don't think it's totally out of the relm of reality to allow multiple databases to replicate into the main source repository. If this isn't possible is there some other way an offsite can have local storage?

Replication is not possible within Vault.
You could look at making a folder export/import, but that is an all or nothing solution as it does not get changes since the last export.
FWIW, I'm not sure if this works in your scenario, but we originally designed Vault with the idea it should be usable over 28 to 56 Kbps connections.
