why VS 2005 cause all files checked out?

We had VS 2005 lost connection to Vault, we VS 2005 and restart it, but evrything marked as checked out. Why is that?

Something isn't right with your bindings it sounds like.
Are you able to check in, or you're thinking there's no bindings at all?

What you can do is go to File - Source Control - Change Source Control. Unbind everything. Click OK to exit that window. Save All. Then return to Change Source Control and rebind everything.
