Is it possible to obliterate just the sub-branch?

I have a project that derived from another project by way of being a branch.

I'd now like to obliterate (not just delete) that 2nd project, but not the main project. From what I am reading that isn't possible, but I need it to be possible.

There is code in that 2nd project that MUST be physically deleted by court order.

it had nothing to do with the branches at all - it was the various deleted sub items in nested folders.

Good thing I eventually had a coffee to boost my IQ the 5 points I needed to work that one out!
