Comments truncated

How long are your comments? Vault allows a little over 2K characters for the entire transaction comment and over 2K characters for each individual change set item comment within the transaction.

Where are you viewing the comments? From the main History Explorer? In order to keep the History Explorer stream lined, only a fraction of the comment is retrieved in that main window. For the entire comment, try viewing the transaction details.

I think I see. I recreated this myself. I'm really sorry you encountered this in this way. It seems the client does not place a limit on the input value for transaction comments, which would have prevented the problem.

I'll make sure to log a bug to fix that issue.
