This issue could possibly be considered the converse of the following post:

I'm using VS.net 2005 with Vault 4.04 on XP2 with the Vault VS.Net 2005 Client.
It seems to me that when using VS.Net 2005 with previous versions of Vault (or with the 2003 client?), when you deleted a folder or file from Visual Studio you would be prompted with a dialog box asking you if you want to delete the file from the source control repository as well as from the VS Solution. But now when you delete a file/folder in VS.net 2005 the prompt is simply "The file [or folder] 'foo.aspx' will be deleted permanently" with a choice of OK of Cancel. If you choose OK the file gets deleted locally but not deleted from Vault.
This situation results in a lot of extraneous files being left in Vault and seems to defy the stated purpose of the forum post I cited above.
Is there an option somewhere that I can adjust to restore this functionality? Is there another post that discusses this issue? If so I haven't found it...
Thanks.
No prompt in VS to also delete files from Vault
