Loosing option To Check In/Out yet "Unbind" optin

In VS 2005, I keep loosing my ability to check in/check out resources (the source control icons are gone) on a web project, it is happening with increasing frequency. I thought they were just disappearing after I reload but I think the last time I came back from a debug session they were gone (about 90% sure I did NOT re-open the project). My only option seems to be to check in my current work using the fortress stand alone client, deleting everything and re-opening from Fortress from the VS2005 file menu ... This is a web project, 4 other developers are NOT experiencing this issue on the same project. This is getting a tad bit counterproductive. Any thoughts???

We haven't had reports of this before -- could you enable IDE logging to get more information about what might be going on?
