Any way to change the icon back to the old one ?

We've just upgraded to version 4.0.3.15836 and the icon has gone from being that nice gray vault door to this stylized "V" or maybe that's a surrealist seagull ?

Anyway, everyone in my team is complaining about how crap the new icon is.

Is there a way to change the icon back to the original one ?

We find it less distinctive here, and harder to find when alt-tabbing through applications, but that might be just that we were very familiar with the old icon.

No, there currently isn't a way to change the icon.

I can log a request to return to the old icon if you really want that.

It was part of a clever marketing thing. If you look at our products page, the angle faces one way on the dot to make an 'F' for Fortress, another way to make a 'V' for Vault, and yet another direction for a 'D' for DiffMerge.

Eh, it's marketing stuff, I try to avoid that as much as possible.
