Hello,
We currently run Vault 3.1.9 and I'm seeing if I can justify an upgrade to v4.0. Can someone explain in detail the "deeper integration" v4.0 has with VS.NET 2005?
I understand there is no concurrent editing like CVS. Anything else noteworthy to talk about in regards to the VS.NET integration? Does it work better? Easier to use? More reliable?
Thanks!
v4.0 "Deeper Integration with VS.NET"

If you are using VS.NET 2003, the integration has not changed very much.
However for VS 2005 users, there is more information, such as additional icons to show status of files and the Vault pending checkins list. In addition, CVS mode -- edit without checkout is supported.
For users of Fortress, which has the source control features of Vault combined with item tracking, item tracking views are available within Visual Studio.
