Multiple instances/databases

Your Vault sever can only access one database. If there are performance concerns, you can create multiple repositories using the Vault Admin tool.

You could place each project into separate repositories. While this configuration will not give you a physical break-up of the projects, it will present you with a logical separation of the files.
