Any way to force comments on check in? VS2005 plugin

As per the subject really - is there any way to force a developer to fill in the comments box on a checkin from Visual Studio 2005? Ideally this would be a server-side option.

You can set this in the Vault Admin Tool under Repository Options->General->Require Checkin Comments.

FYI, when the "Require Check In Comments" option is checked in the Repository Option, if the comment is missing at check in time, an error dialog box will pop up to remind the user that the operation has failed because "check in comments are required". And this whether you use Vault Client or VS.NET (have tested with VS.NET 2005).
