Vault 4.0

The main website claims Vault 4.0 is going to be available Q2 2007. We are now in the middle of Q2. What is the ETA?

From what I have heard, V4.0 will handle CVS style checks much better because it does not use the older SCC api. Is that correct?

I don't have an exact date on the release. What we meant was sometime within Q2. We still have that estimate.

It will be able to use the VSIP client which will allow for the CVS mode.

I realized as I read my post that it was a bit abrupt. It's just that VSS style checkout in VS is a chore. Chomping at the bit as it were...
