How to recognize visually a branched file/folder?

Post by Tri » Thu Apr 12, 2007 5:48 pm

Hi,

Vault Server: 3.16, Client: 3.19.

There is a different icon for shared file/folder. How about branched file/folder?

A person has created a branched folder. When I look at it, the folder looks like a normal folder. The folder property dialog doesn't show any info related to branching.

So if I discover a repository the first time, is there any way to review all branched & shared objects ?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can perform a show history and filter out all the actions except the branch.

If you want, I could put in a feature request for the icon to look different.

Thanks for your help.

And yes of course, this would help to have the icon looks different on branched objects.
