Shadow Folders - Excluding

Say you have a web project. Within the project, you want to have a copy of the database, which is MS Access. Now, you are using the shadow folder for the live website. You would not want to have the database copied.

Is there a way to exclude files for shadow folders?

Shadow folders are recursive and currently there's no way to exclude files or folders. A workaround might be to move the database to a folder that's not under the parent folder or to shadow folders individually.
