Use of soscmd.exe

hi,

Where ever I try to checkout file which is already checked out by same user, the soscmd returns 'File Locked' and if the same file is checked out by some other user, the soscmd returns 'File Checked out'. How could I achieve a consistent result. Please help.

In a way, this is consistent, if the message is specific to whether you have the file checked out or someone else does. Is there a reason this causes a problem?
