Moving to database server..

We moved to a new database server and I followed the instructions as in
http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=924

We have a SQL Server 2000 database and we moved to another SQL Server 2000 d/b.
I followed steps:
A1
B2
On SQL Server 2000 (or MSDE):
And then C2 in which I changed the settings of Web.config.
For some reason Vault works on web but does not work on client. For client it still tries to connect to the old d/b server and gives a connection error.

Do I have to configure anything else for client.

Are you using profiles or having it autoconnect? If so, then you will need the update the profile information with the new server information.

Are you using it integrated with an IDE?
Are you receiving a pop-up window for connecting to vault where you'd log in and specify the server?
