VS2005 Integration

Hi,

We're just in the process of evaluating Sourcegear Vault at the moment and were just wondering about a certain feature with regards to VS2005 integration.

When you add/remove a file to a project the project is checked out exclusively, is this deliberate or should we be able to have multiple people check out the same project file?

Files that are not considered mergeable by Vault are checked out exclusively. By default, project files are not listed as mergeable files in the Vault Admin Tool->Repository Options->Mergeable files. If you want multiple users to be able to checkout project files and then merge any changes on checkin or get, then add the extensions (*.csproj; *.vbproj) to the list of Mergeable files.
