Writing a vault server plugin

I'm using version 3.5 of vault, and I'd like to write a plugin for the vault server. There is a <a href="http://weblogs.asp.net/jeremy_sheeley/a ... spx">dated posting from Jeremy Sheeley</a> on how to get started with this, but I was wondering how accurate it is for 3.5. I think the event model has changed with 3.5...

Is there an SDK or something similar that explains the vault server pipeline?

The plugin model has not changed. What we have on this is all in the article you found.
