Hi.
We've recently been getting a regular 'Access Failure" message on doing a 'Get Latest Version (recursive) on a project in a multi-project solution from the .Net MDI. The same goes if we do it from the solution level. This only seems to occur when the other user has checked in a change.
We've tried closing the solution; and Visual Studio...
The only way round is to do a get latest from the Vault client.
Here's an example message from the output window:
Anyone have any ideas?

What version of Vault are you using?
What version of Visual Studio?
Could you email the sgvault.log file that covers the time period of the error? It's in %windir%\temp\sgvault on the server machine. Send it to linda at sourcegear.com.
