Oops - I just started getting this on starting VS.Net about 15 minutes ago - Vault client gets the same error too.
Only thing I have done is install the MS SQL Server Native Client and SMO (XMO package) from their downloads section. Problem is I am not sure if an uninstall is going to properly remove these? Nor if they are actually the problem.
Any suggestions?

Sorry - my fault
Found the link in your FAQ regarding the server logs - found in there that the log file was full (SQL Log file).
Not quite true. I just only had 6.3MB disk space left on the server - seems one of my databases had managed to create a 6GB log file for itself vis some bulk updates I was doing.
Sorted now - cheers
