Finally I have been able to get the Vault installed. (Permission problem in IIS). Now I am able to connect as Admin but not as the other users that were added. (Server was unable to read request. -->
There is an error in XML document (1, 1022). -->
The XML declaration is unexpected. Line 1, position 1027.)

I have been able to add a repository and add folders, but when I try to add files, errors occur (

Looks like there's still some sort of configuration problem. What does the Vault Server log show for this same time period? The log is in %windir%\temp\sgvault on the Vault Server machine.

We don't have a separate tutorial on how to use Vault, but you can get information you need from Vault Client and Vault Admin Help. They're installed along with Vault and also available online:

Can you add files from a different client machine?

Can you add files from a Vault client on the Vault Server machine using "localhost" for the Vault server name?

Are you trying to add files with the Vault GUI Client or through Visual Studio? If you're using Visual Studio, what version?

Look in the Vault GUI Client under Tools->Options->Network settings. If "use chunked encoding" is checked, uncheck it and try to add files. If it is unchecked, check it.

On the server machine another user besides Admin can get in.
On the Client machine, when Bill logs in he gets this error msg:
He just now got in! (I just installed the client on the server.)

After a little experimenting, I have been able to do a bulk load with the client on the server.

We must get the client to work on client machine for us to purchase the Vault.

Are you trying to add files with the Vault GUI Client or through Visual Studio? If you're using Visual Studio, what version? VB6
Visual Studio 6 -- it has been added to the menu in vb6.

Look in the Vault GUI Client under Tools->Options->Network settings. If "use chunked encoding" is checked, uncheck it and try to add files. If it is unchecked, check it.

This is not checked.

The log is gettting hugh on client machine. I will zip it and add as attachment.
