4.1.2 Slow Synchronization

I've checked in a file into SourceOffSite on my end, the next day when someone else checked his VSS, he's still seeing the older version of the file. Using the refresh file list button does not help. Same for the other way around. Any ideas?

Syncrhonization of *files* should be instantaneous.

The first thought that comes to mind is two similar files in different locations within the VSS database or possibly two different (but similar in structure) VSS databases.

Can you eliminate those possiblities first?
