Easter eggs in Vault?

Post by anotherlab » Fri Jun 30, 2006 1:21 pm

I came across an odd little thing in the 3.1.8 client today. While viewing the history of a file in the History Explorer, I had scrolled through the list by grabbing the scroll bar with the mouse. When I released the mouse, a little "smiley face" (similiar to this guy :) ) appeared at the bottom right corner of the window. When I moved the mouse over the smiley face, a popup hint was displayed with the following text:

Congratulations! You win 1 history row!

Is there any significance to this, or is it a just ar andom easter egg built into the Vault Client?

Wow, someone actually found it... :)

It's just a little easter egg. Whenever the history window needs to fetch some rows and it only needs 1 row, you get the smiley. It's not much as far as easter eggs go, but hey, it only took 2 lines of code to put in... :D
