how to ignore certian folders?

Post by VaultNoob » Thu Jun 29, 2006 12:49 pm

Hi,

I have a image folder in my web application that has 100's of folders and files, when adding the project to Vault it didn't seem to grab all the folders/files. How can I just have this folder ignored, is that what cloaking is?

If you added the project to Vault with Visual Studio, using the "Add Solution to Source Control" command, Visual Studio determines what should be added to Source Control. It's possible some items didn't actually make it to the Vault Server because of an upload problem. Check the Vault server log in %windir%\temp\sgvault for error messages that might be related to a failed file upload.

Cloaking is used in the Vault GUI Client to skip certain folders during recursive operations. Cloaking in the Vault GUI Client doesn't affect Visual Studio.
