I have been working with Vault for several months now. I have been looking into using "keyword expansion" to insert comments into my code. I am currently using Dragnet & Vault. What I want to be able to do is to insert the something close to VSS [$Header: $ ] and [$History: $ ] into comment blocks. What steps do I need to do to make it happen?
I am currently using the following.
Vault 3.1.8
Dragnet 1.0.5

Vault supports keyword expansion.
First, it needs to be enabled in the Admin Tool. This setting is in Repository Options. Choose the repository then check "Enable keyword expansion" in the keyword expansion section and list file types, such as .txt, etc.
Vault keyword expansion is the same as VSS, with a couple of extra keywords.
For details see Vault Client Help->Reference Guide->Keyword Expansion.
