VSS Import fails with thousands of errors

Hi!

We decided to use Vault instead of SourceSafe and are now in the progress of migrating or sources. The first import workes (although not on the first try), but the next one doesn't: I tried three times and it never works.

I tried with both our old installed version (3.1.3) and the newest one (3.1.

. It gives me about 38000 errors (for about 1300 files) either way.

Also, after some use, we start getting strange error messages (collection may not be null and the like) that only go away when we restart the vault server (recycle the vault app-pool in iis). This does not seem very normal.

Please help me get this to work properly...

I uploaded the server logs and the import tool messages to the ftp as "vault-import-probs-lvw@garaio-com.zip"

Are you using the 3.1.8 Import tool with a 3.1.8 Vault Server?

Could you email or ftp a copy of the latest import log? It should be in the import tool directory.
