Diff on MS Word documents

Anyone know if their is a way of performing diffs on versions of MS Word documents within Vault?

I've been playing with NGSource 3 which has this feature and is proving quite useful...

The only way to do this would be to specify a different diff tool from the built-in one that supports diffing word documents. You can change diff tools in Tools->Options->Diff/Merge.

There are a number of diff tools that support Word, but we can't recommend one over another.

Some pointers to diffs

I appreciate your not recommending one diff program over another. Can you provide pointers to a few that would work without endorsing any? There has been some interest expressed in storing some MS Word documentation n Vault, and I'd just like some place to start looking.

We haven't tried any here at SourceGear. Perhaps other users will post some suggestions.
