Vault Backup going to c:\windows\system32\

Greetings,

Vault Version 3.1.2.3511
Server is windows 2k sp4
Database is MSDE

When backing up Vault through the admin tool, the backup file is placed in the system32 folder and I have found no way to redirect it somewhere else. Is there a way to have the backup file go to or more logical folder like, \mssql\mssql$vault_db\backup?

Vault doesn't specify a backup location -- it evokes the Simple Recovery Model backup for SQL Server and the backup goes wherever SQL Server or MSDE specifies.
