Form from another location quietly not added to peoject

in VB6, I add an existing form to existing project. There's a prompt to add it to Vault. If the form is being added from other location (i.e. from another vb project), there's no error message, but the form is not added to Vault.

The reason for non-adding is understood, but I think there should be a warning.

Speaking of the reason, I wonder, was the possibility of "distributed work directory" ever considered? I mean, to remove the restriction on the files within one project to be in one directory.

We'll try to reproduce this and log a bug. We'll also look into whether the directory limitation is a Vault issue or just the way VB wants to do things. Sometimes we don't have full control the placement of files and folders in the integrated development environment.
