stop current operation hangs SOS server

I am running Verson 4.1.2 of SOS.

I have a user in Japan that accesses our VSS server via SOS. He is able to connect and work fine most of the time but if he selects "stop current operation" from the File menu during the process of downloading the database structure to his client, it hangs the SOS service on the server and he is unable to continue or reconnect. I have to stop and start the server service in order to get him connected again.

There are no errors... it just stops working.

This is a critical issue for us.

This could be caused by the threading model used by the VSS Automation Component installed on the SOS Server machine.
