Are there any recommendations, tips for moving vault server to a new machine? We have a database located on a separate system. Does vault application allow multiple Vault servers connecting to the database?

There is a KB article here http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=228 that describes how to move a Vault DB. Moving the server is simply a matter of uninstalling it on one machine and installing it on the other (and pointing it to the moved database).
It is possible to setup multiple servers to access the same database, but you have to be very careful about it, and only one Vault service is allowed access to a one repository at a time (but you can have multiple vault servers accessing different repositories in the same database). We generally discourage this, but for special cases will help customers get setup to run this way. Let us know how badly you want to do this
