I have just upgraded to Vault 3.1.2. Now when I start up the program, the splash screen appears and will not go away. The Normal application window appears, but will not respond to any menu actions. I cannot close Vault without using the Windows task manager. I have tried the following to correct this:
1. Uninstalled and reinstalled Vault.
2. Deleted the vault data in my Application data
3. Removed the client registry entries.
Various combinations along with rebooting.
Need some help here, the Vault server was also converted to 3.1.2 so I cannot go back to the older client--and besides I cannot even get into a position to connect.
None of the other users are experiencing these difficulties.
Don't know if this does not help the diagnosis. When I tried using the vault command line and began with a Vault rememberlogin command, I got the following console messages:
vault rememberlogin ...
Unhandled Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to
an instance of an object.

Fixed by re-installing .net Framework
I was able to resolve this by uninstalling .net Framework and then letting Windows Update reinstall.
