File Exclusions: designed for *NIX?

Post by HankFay » Sun Sep 18, 2005 10:25 pm

Is there a reason that a specification of *.fxp is different than a specification of *.FXP (and presumeably both are different than *.fXp, etc.)? I know that on *NIX systems this might be the case; but presumeably even if Vault ran on Mono, it would be used with Samba.

Is there a switch I can set to change this *NIX behavior to Windows behavior? This same behavior was in SOS, btw, although it is not the case in VSS.

I could use more information on the specific behavior you're seeing and how you would like it to change.

You don't need Samba for Vault on Mono/Unix. You'd still have case sensitivity on Unix.
