Help restore vault server.

I accidentally hosed the server where Vault installation lived. However, because the database was on a different drive, I was able to save that.

So I reinstalled OS/MSDE/Vault. Next I stopped MSDE and replaced the sgvault.* files from the new install with the copy of sgvault.* from the destroyed server. I then restarted MSDE.

When I try to log on to Vault (either from client or server), I get "Invalid password". I've tried all the accounts I had ever set up.
What am I missing or doing wrong. Is there a procedure for restoring vault?

You might need to reinstall Vault again (uninstall it then reinstall it). There is probably something in the password hashing key that changed when a new OS was installed, and installing the database after Vault restored the old value. Reinstalling Vault on top of the database would most likely reset everything properly.
