Plugins: timed out

Post by ismangil » Mon Aug 22, 2005 5:17 am

I am using a plugin, located on a different server from the vault server

In the vault server log, sometimes I got

Exception in plugin thread : The operation has timed-out.

Is there any particular reason this would be happening.
It doesn't happen all the time.

What version of Vault are you using, and what operating system is the Vault server installed on?

Does theVault server log file show the Vault server restarting often -- or are there restarts that correspond to your timeouts?

Vault 3.0.6 on W2K3.

The log otherwise is normal, no restarts.

I have now moved the plugin webservice to the same machine as the Vault server, and also added more logging in the plugin to see if this solves the problem.
