Checkout comments with SourceOffSite

In the properties window of a checked out file in the SOS client there is a "comment" field in the "Check out status" tab.

How do we set this comment?

I'm using SOS 3.5.3, and there is no comment field in the check out dialog.

SOS doesn't support checkout comments, probably due to a limitation in the SourceSafe automation component.

If you see a comment in the Properties of the checked out file, it was probably entered by a VSS user during their checkout using VSS. There's no way to add a comment with SOS until you check a file in.
