Vault 3.07/VS 6/"Failed to reload project"
I'm running Vault 3.07 client on XP with Visual Studio 6 and VB 6. I believe our server is also 3.07. Every time I load up my project group AND every time I try to check out a file, I get the message "Failed to reload project. Please close this project from the file menu and re-open it to get the correct version of all files loaded into memory." At load time, this sometimes (but not always) results in the project not being source controlled. At check-out time, the file is checked out but I cannot edit it unless I unload and reload. Very annoying. I've tried this both with projects imported from VSS and with newly created projects to no effect. I haven't been able to find any other messages here about this problem. Any help greatly appreciated.
It looks like this may be a known issue with Visual Basic using source code control. Please view the following KB article and let me know if this doesn't resolve your problem.

that's not it
My project group files are read/write and not checked into source control
Do you have more than one project in your Visual Basic group (vbg) file with one of the projects referenceing another?
Do you get this error message with all of your VB projects or just this particular one? Have you always received this error message?
You may want to upgrade to the latest Visual Studio Service Pack 6 (if you haven't already) and upgrade to the latest version of Vault (3.1):
