Hi All
I am using SourceOffSite 3.5.3. My Id file was sucessfully imported and I have mentioned the server name also. Whenever i try to connect to server, It asks for login ID and password, on providng the login ID and password, SourceOffSite displays the error message as :-
"The server was unable to connect to the SourceSafe database.
Please verify that SourceSafe was properly installed on the server machine."
If I import the key file of some other user, it works fine.
What could be the reason of this error.
I have Visual Studio.Net 2003 on my machine, and I don't have SourceSafe client installed on my machine.
Pleasse Suggest.

Was SOS working properly before?
Are other users having the same problem?
If so, then I'd like to see a copy of the log.txt file from the SOS server directory on the SOS Server machine.
If you're the only one getting this error message, there may be a problem with your user's ss.ini file in the Users->username directory in the SourceSafe database. A quick way to fix this is for your VSS Admin to delete and re-create your user account.
