Unable to "Open From Source Control"

Dear all,
In VS .NET 2003, after I select File | Open From Source Control I am able connect to the Vault server, select a working folder, and choose a vault folder to download. However, after I've made my selections and click 'OK' I immediately receive the error "The operation could not be completed" and no files are copied to the working folder. I'm using Vault client 3.0.6.

Can someone please help me out?!

Are there any errors in the Vault server log file that correspond to the time of the error in VS.NET?

How was this project originally added to Vault?

Vault IDE client logging may provide additional information.
