Problems with Visual Studios 2003

Okay, this one is annoying.

I had Sourcegear setup with Visual studios 2003 and everything was working fine. I could connect to the repository thru visual studios and grab my projects...life was wonderful...until.

Until, I needed to migrate some old source safe information. Being a new laptop build, I didn't have source safe on my machine, so I installed it. I was able to migrate the old information to my vault repository. I unistalled the aweful program and.....now I can't connect to the vault thru Visual Studios.

I've gone as far as removing and reinstalling visual studios and the vault. Visual studios will not recognize sourcegear as a source control providor!

Any ideas what I should look for, or am I completely hosed?

1) Shutdown all instances of VS.Net
2) Open the Vault GUI client.
3) Go to the options
4) On the general item, check Make Vault your Default Source Code Control Provider.
