Show Differences disabled

We recently started to use SSO and we ran into a problem as the Show Difference menu item under Tools is disabled. Our SSO is v4.1 and VSS is 6c (build 9447). What could be the problem here?

When you say it is disabled, do you mean the command is greyed out? Or are you getting an error message?

Or does the diff just not work correctly? There have been some folder diff problems with SOS 4.1, which will be fixed in our next release.

It seems that I did not have the working directory set. Once I did that the Show Differences..in the menu was lit and accessable.
