NANT & Vault suggestion

Post by dnespoli » Fri May 27, 2005 2:36 am

Hi,

Each Nant command for vault requires that a username, password and repository be added as a parameter (at least I think it does). It would be possible to add a 'VaultSetDefaults' command which stored these values in a static. Commands could then use these values if it was not provided.

Just a suggestion. Thoughts?

Dave

That's a good point. The nant tasks need something like the Command Line Client's rememberlogin command.

It would be great to have a vaultgetbyversion command, and also a way to get the version of a file that you have checked out.

Is it possible to publish the source code for the nant library? It would be a great open source project.

The source for the nant tasks is already available on http://vaultpub.sourcegear.com under the Build Tool Integration repository.
