stuck at "downloading files...." for several minut

Several of my developers have reported that Vault occassionally will have a status message of "downloading files...." for around ten minutes after getting a branch. during this timeframe, nothing is downloading, and vault is unusable.

3.0.6 client and server.

any ideas?

Nothing off the top of my head. Anything in the server's log file?

If not, and you have a lot of disk space, you could place the server in Debug log mode. Then if you encounter anything like this again, we could take a look at anything that seems to be taking a long time.

nothing in the server log. i put it in debug mode.

Turning on Vault client logging will probably help track this down, at least to tell us what the client is doing when it hangs.
