SOS 3.5.3 and VSS 6.0c/d

Hi -- Half of our team uses VSS and the other SOS, and I'm having an incredibly frustrating time trying to integrate the SOS client smoothly with our solution.

Basically, the problem was that the projects were internally bound to VSS so my copy of VS.NET would check them out each time I'd open the solution.

Then I came across http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=1149

However now, even when I open the sln from within VS.NET, VS presents an error that the sln's binding's don't match the projects' bindings. (Choosing to update the project's bindings results, predictably, in again checking out each project.) It doesn't help that I have to login to SOS once per project.

Any ideas on how to get this resolved? Seroiusly, this is far an away the most frustrating software problem I deal with.

Are these web projects?

What version of SOS and VSS do you have?

All the projects are part of a standalone .NET Forms app.

We're using SOS 3.5.3 and VSS 6.0d (could be c, actually).
