sos gives segmentation fault on linux

Post by stevenpannell » Fri May 13, 2005 4:00 am

Hi,

I am attempting to use SOS (executable) version 3.5.3 on suse linux 9.3

Every time I call the sos executable I get a segmentation fault. (soscmd seems to be working)

Sorry can't upgrade to 4 at the moment as the server we have is still version 3.5.3

Probably some library problem I guess??

Any Ideas??

thx.
Steve.

Yes, the SOS 3.5 Linux client was built with an older version of GTK and GLIB (1.26 I think). So it's not compatible with the newer versions on current operating machines.

We can send you the source code for the SOS 3.5 Unix client and you could build you own. Email Linda at SourceGear.com. Be sure to specify you want version 3.5.
