Check-in changes local file SOS 4.1

I've noticed that when I check-in a file, my local file is being re-delivered and the filestamp no longer matches the filestamp in VSS(modification date), nor the remote date in SOS client (which always seems to show the checkin timestamp).
Is there any way I can prevent this from happening - afterall I know my file is uptodate?

Most of our team use VSS with the display settings to use modification date - but a few of us use SOS and I'm having trouble matching up our actual files to the SOS display and then to VSS.

You should be able to change the local date to Modification time in Tools->Options->Files. If it's not working like you think it should, let us know. We'd need some detailed steps to reproduce what you are seeing.
