Very Slow speed when doing Get Latest
When trying to get the latest version of files, it has started taking a tremendous amount of time and has become extremely slow. There were no such problems earlier. There has been no changes in the network configuration. I am using a VPN link to connect to remote VSS thru SOS. What could be the source of this problem and how can this be resolved.
If SOS was working properly before and there have been no changes to SOS, then something else may have changed.
One of the main culprits in SOS slowdowns is real-time anti-virus protection. Could that have been enabled?

Another possibility is that there is minor database corruption in the VSS database. Running Analyze can help:
