Commit dialog does not allow user to browse for bugs

Post by abova » Fri Jan 14, 2005 9:21 am

I am useing Vault 3.0.1 and Dragnet 1.0.1 and I have one user who's browse button withing the Update Bugs section of the Commit Dialog is not active. When he does "Show my Open Bugs" he can view them but when he tries to commit he can't use the browse button to select them.

I created a new user for this guy after renaming his old user and tried again still the same behaviour.

Ok, I did one extra test. This user had not set a password his login. I did and now he has the button.

Does your user have any files in the commit list that have a status of "modified", "edited" or "added"? The browse button will only be enabled if at least one of the files has a modifed or added status.

At first he had nothing changed but we fixed that The problem seemed to be the fact that the user had no password set.
